The Florida Space Research Consortium in partnership with the UF Astraeus Space Institute is proud to present the Florida Space Summit hosted at KSC’s Center for Space Education October 20 & 21, 2026.

This two-day event offers a unique opportunity to connect, inspire, and build lasting partnerships across academia, industry, and the government entities.

Join us at the space coast as we shape the next chapter of space innovation—together.

Registration will be available in early July.

Center for Space Education

Hosted by the Astronaut Memorial Foundation, the Center for Space Education exists to accomplish the following:

  • To foster an understanding of space exploration among young people, teachers, and Kennedy Space Center visitors.
  • To inspire the next generation of space scientists, space workers, and astronauts.

The building was dedicated in 1994. The design and construction of the building was funded through the voluntary contributions of hundreds of thousands of Florida citizens who purchased Challenger license plates!
